If you use an adblocker to block ads on YouTube, this will no longer be possible.
The company has launched a global crackdown on the use of ad blockers.
Note that in June 2023, YouTube announced a ‘small experiment’ to disable ad blockers globally.
Now YouTube has applied this restriction to users all over the world.
Users will be asked by the company to watch ads on YouTube or pay a fee for YouTube Premium (this program does not show ads).
YouTube official Christopher Laughton said that now if a user uses an ad blocker on YouTube, he will get a message (the screenshot of which you can see below).
But the important thing is that unless the ad blocker is disabled by the user, it will not be possible for him to watch YouTube videos.
According to Christopher Laughton, using ad blockers is a violation of the platform’s rules and regulations.
