WhatsApp introduced the feature to send high-definition (HD) photos and videos for Android users in August.
Now this feature has been introduced for iPhone users.
The feature was announced in the new WhatsApp update for iOS devices.
With this feature, iPhone users will be able to share their photos and videos with their friends in their original resolution.
To access this new feature, you need to update WhatsApp first.
After updating the app, when you upload a photo or video to send in a chat, the HD option will also appear in the image editing menu at the top.
When you click on the HD button, a new pop-up window will appear showing standard and HD quality options, from which click on HD.
It should be noted that standard quality is selected by default in WhatsApp.
According to the company, HD photos are clearer, while standard photos use less storage space and can be sent faster.
When a user selects HD quality and sends a photo, the HD label will also appear in the bottom left corner.
Under this feature, the user will be able to share a photo or video file of up to 2 GB with their loved ones.
