WhatsApp has introduced a new interesting feature that will help in video playback.
WABetaInfo reports that the Meta-owned messaging app has added new video playback controls.
This new feature has been introduced in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android devices.
This new feature looks similar to YouTube’s video playback controls.
This feature will help users rewind videos 10 seconds and forward 10 seconds.
Now while watching a video on WhatsApp, one has to swipe back and forth on the progress bar to rewind or forward it.
Currently this feature is in beta version so it is hard to say when it will be rolled out to all users.
Earlier, the alternate profile feature was also introduced in the beta version of WhatsApp.

This privacy feature will give users more control over the privacy of their profile photos.
For example, if you have restricted the profile photo to just your contacts, people outside the contact list cannot see the profile photo.
But with this new feature, such people will be able to see the user’s alternate profile photo.
Users will likely be able to add a profile photo as well as various details to the alternate profile.
