Tik Tok is making new changes to provide users with an opportunity to earn from this social media platform.
To this end, Tik Tok is making it easier for creators of viral filters and effects to generate income.

For this purpose, the ‘Effect Creator Rewards’ fund was introduced by the video sharing app.
Through this fund, users can earn money by creating viral filters and augmented reality (AR) effects.
At the time, it was reported that the company had allocated $6 million for the fund, which was initially introduced to customers in the US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
Now, the terms of joining the program have been relaxed, while users from more countries are also being given the opportunity to be a part of it.
Now users from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Indonesia, Finland, Ireland, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam will also be able to earn money with viral filters and effects.
The requirements to be a part of this program are also being changed.
In May, the company said that for every effect and filter used in 5 lakh videos over a 3-month period, the creator will be paid $700.

To join the program users have to post a minimum of 5 filters out of which 3 must be used in 1000 videos, after which they will be eligible for earnings.
That means the filters won’t need to be very popular.
Likewise, every effect that is used in 2 lakh videos within 3 months will make it possible for the creator to earn money.
The company is also removing the requirement of additional one lakh videos for more revenue.
Now after crossing the limit of 2 lakh videos, the user will get a chance to earn money for using the effect in each additional video, but the company did not give more details in this regard.
