If you work on a computer or laptop running Windows operating system, you may have been using the same keyboard for years.

But for the first time in decades, Microsoft is changing the computer keyboard.

A lot of work is being done by Microsoft on improving artificial intelligence (AI) technology and the company wants to equip computers with AI in 2024.

That’s why keyboards for new laptops and desktop computers are undergoing a major overhaul.

In the next few months, if you buy a new Windows computer or laptop, you will see a new button on the keyboard.

It is called the Copilot key, by clicking on which the Microsoft AI will access the pilot program.

About 30 years ago, we introduced the Windows button to computer keyboards and people around the world used it, according to a company statement.

The statement said that now users will be able to enter the world of AI through the pilot button.

The Copilot button will replace the Menu or Windows button that was introduced decades ago.

This new button will appear in the equivalent of the alt button on the right side of most keyboards.

Clicking this button will launch the Windows Copilot digital assistant in Windows 11, a chatbot similar to ChatGPT.

More details in this regard will be announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) scheduled in Las Vegas next week.
