WhatsApp is constantly working on new and exciting features so that users don’t have to switch to other services.
One such new feature is coming soon to the Meta-owned messaging app that will help users organize chats.
Wabetainfo, a site that monitors WhatsApp updates, reported that the group chat filter option in the messaging app is being tested in the beta version of Android devices.
This feature has been in the works for a long time but is now available for beta version users.
This new feature will also help users keep groups and personal contacts separate.
Chat filters named All, Unread, Contacts and Groups will appear at the top of the WhatsApp screen.
By clicking on the Groups filter, users will see the names of the groups and can organize the chats accordingly.
This feature was requested by many users to organize group chats in a better way.

Needless to say, WhatsApp users become part of multiple groups that are flooded with messages.
It’s hard to say how long this feature will be available, but it’s likely to be available in the coming weeks or months.
