Apple has introduced 4 new iPhones.

The iPhone 15 series was unveiled by the company during an event.

This series consists of iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

The highlight of this year’s models is the addition of a new charging port.

Design and processor

The iPhone 15 series models look pretty much the same as last year’s iPhones.

But this year, all iPhones have a dynamic island design in their displays, which was limited to the iPhone 14 Pro models last year.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro have a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max have a 6.7-inch display.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have a screen refresh rate of 60 Hz, while the Pro models have an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

The front display of the iPhone 15 Pro Max has the lowest bezel of any smartphone currently available.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has a bezel size of just 0.06 inches.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus feature the A16 Bionic processor that was part of last year’s iPhone 14 Pro models.

In comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are equipped with the A17 Bionic processor.

Camera setup

This year Apple has upgraded the camera setup of all iPhone 15 series models.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have a 2-camera setup on the back.

The main camera of this setup is 48 megapixels along with a 12 megapixel ultra wide camera.

The iPhone 15 Pro has the same 3-camera setup as last year’s iPhone 14 Pro, but it’s been upgraded.

The main camera of the iPhone 15 Pro is 48 megapixels, along with 12.7 megapixel telephoto and 13.4 megapixel ultrawide cameras.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max’s main and ultra-wide cameras are the same as the iPhone 15 Pro, but the highlight of the device is its new telephoto camera.

The 12.7-megapixel telephoto camera is equipped with a periscope lens that will allow users to zoom 5x to 10x optically.

Arrival of USB charging port

This is a change that has been rumored for years but became a reality in 2023.

After the European Union mandated USB charging ports in all devices (the ban is set to take effect in 2024), Apple replaced the Lightning port.

All the iPhone 15 series phones have a USB Type-C port for charging, which has been demanded by users for a long time.

This is the first time in 11 years that Apple has made such a change to iPhones.

Action buttons and RAM

Apple has replaced the silent switch for Pro models this year with an action button that can be used for multiple functions.

The RAM in the iPhone 15 series Pro models has been increased from 6GB to 8GB, while the other two models will have 6GB of RAM.

Price

The iPhone 15 starts at $799 (for the 128GB storage model) while the iPhone 15 Plus costs $899 (for the 128GB storage model).

The iPhone 15 Pro starts at $999 (for the 128GB storage model) while the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at $1199 (for the 128GB storage model).

The most expensive version of the iPhone 15 Pro Max (one TB storage) will be available for $1599 or $1699.
