Metta is likely to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) technology based chatbots for users soon.
According to a report in the Financial Times, AI chatbots may be introduced in other Meta services including Facebook and Instagram by September.
The report quoted company sources as saying that this new technology will bring a lot of innovation to meta services, including search and recommendations.
Details on various topics will be provided by Meta through these chatbots.
These chatbots will help Metta keep users longer on various services while also competing with ChatGPT and Google Bard.
Earlier in June, the company gave employees a glimpse of chatbot-based tools like ChatGPT, which will be part of WhatsApp and Messenger.
Remember that Mark Zuckerberg had announced in March 2023 to develop an AI chatbot for WhatsApp and Messenger.
On this occasion, Mark Zuckerberg said that the company is creating a high-level product group to integrate artificial intelligence technology into services.
Initially, these bots will be a source of entertainment for users, but Meta will gradually integrate them into other areas.
Mark Zuckerberg said that advances in generative AI over the past year have made it possible for the company to integrate the technology into all of its services.
